PREMATURE WRINKLES/AGING-CAUSES AND PREVENTION!

Premature wrinkles/aging  is when your skin undergoes an unnatural aging process, such as with extreme sun exposure or living with an unhealthy lifestyle. There are other reasons your skin may age prematurely. Some people have medical conditions or are taking medications that age their skin.
 COMMON CAUSES OF PREMATURE WRINKLES
One of the biggest mistakes many people make is to disrupt the delicate skin around their eyes. Rubbing and pulling the skin in this area can cause darkness. Be sure to get enough sleep each night. Your skin renews and repairs itself while you sleep and this can’t happen if you’re lacking the sleep your body needs. Sleeping on your side isn’t good for your skin. It can break your facial skin down, which eventually are causes of wrinkles. Pursing your lips can also cause lip wrinkles. We purse our lips when we drink out of straws and when we smoke. Speaking of which, the chemicals in tobacco cigarettes can also prematurely age your skin. Others causes includes:
EXCESS ALCOHOL INTAKE:Have you noticed how you look a little... worse for wear after a night of drinking? Well, that's all due to the lovely dehydrating effect of alcohol. "First and foremost, it dehydrates by acting as a diuretic," Ceballos says. "Paradoxically, it [also] leads to periocular puffiness (edema). The delicate eyelid skin retains fluid in response to alcohol." Not a cute combination. So do your skin a favor, and cut back on the drinking. Or, at the very least, be sure to sip more water.
OVER-USE OF SKIN CARE PRODUCTS:You might think that the more the better when it come to skin care products. But it doesn't actually work that way. "Applying more of a product than directed can cause clogged pores or a blotchy complexion," noted the Huffington Post. "What’s  more, using too many products can lead to irritation and redness, which makes signs of aging more noticeable, according to the American Academy of Dermatology." Sticking to a simpler routine can help your skin recover, while slowing down that premature wrinkling.
STRESS: We all know stress is horrible for the body, and this includes your rapidly wrinkling epidermis. "High stress levels and lack of sleep are a lethal combination for skin health and youthfulness," Ceballos says. This is due to high cortisol level which take a huge toll on your skin's connective tissues. To get things under control, Farber suggests taking more time for yourself. "It is crucial to find time for activities to reduce stress: exercise, yoga, or meditation," she says.
   SOLUTIONS TO PREMATURE WRINKLES/ AGING.
1. Try as much as you can to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep each night.
2. Always drink from a cup and not using a straw, to limit pursing of the lips.
3. Reduce your work load for each day and get enough rest.
4. Reduce/limit alcohol intake, but endeavor to take enough water to prevent dehydration.
5. Avoid excess use of skin care products.

FACTS ABOUT BLOOD YOU MUST KNOW.

Blood makes up around 7% of the weight of a human body. Blood contains red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. These blood cells float in a yellow liquid called blood plasma. Blood plasma is made up of 90% water and also contains various nutrients, electrolytes, gases, proteins, glucose and hormones. Blood plasma can be separated from the cells by spinning blood in a device known as a centrifuge until the cells collect at the bottom of the tube. Red blood cells have the important job of carrying oxygen around the body. They also contain a protein called hemoglobin. Hemoglobin contains iron which combines with oxygen to give hemoglobin and our blood, a red color. Red blood cells develop in bone marrow and circulate in the body for around 120 days. White blood cells are an important part of the body’s immune system. They defend against certain bacteria, viruses, cancer cells, infectious diseases and other unwanted materials. Platelets help blood clo...

HALITOSIS (BAD BREATH), WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW!

Bad breath, medically known as HALITOSIS, can result from poor dental health habits and may be a sign of other health problems. Bad breath  can also be made worse by the types of foods you eat and other unhealthy lifestyle habits. when it comes to what you eat,  all the food eaten begins to be broken down in your mouth .  If you eat foods with strong odors (such as garlic or onions), brushing and flossing -- even mouthwash -- merely covers up the odor temporarily. The odor will not go away completely until the foods have passed through your body.    If you don't brush and floss  teeth   daily, food particles can remain in your  mouth , promoting bacterial growth between teeth , around the gums, and on the   tongue. This causes bad breath .   Antibacterial  mouth   rinses also can help reduce bacteria.    In addition, odor-causing bacteria and food particles can cause bad breath if de...
